ridgerunner Transit treats its customers with respect, integrity and is committed to ensuring that no person is excluded from participation in, or denied the benefits of its services.
ridgerunner Transit Title VI Policy Statement:
Title VI is a section of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 requiring that “No person in the United States shall on the grounds of race, color or national origin, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving federal financial assistance.” ridgerunner Transit grants all citizens’ equal access to all its transportation services under Title VI of the Civil Act and it is also the intent of ridgerunner Transit that all citizens are aware of their rights to such access.
If you believe you have been discriminated against, you may file a signed, written Title VI Complaint Form within one hundred and eighty (180) days of the date of the alleged discriminatory incident. The preferred method is to file your complaint in writing using this Title VI Complaint Form and send it to:

The Title VI Complaint Form may be used to detail the complaint, but is not mandatory. Complaint forms may also be obtained by calling 760-499-5040. The City of Ridgecrest will provide appropriate assistance to complainants who are limited in their ability to communicate in English.
In addition to the Title VI complaint process at the City of Ridgecrest, a complainant may file a Title VI complaint with the Federal Transit Administration (FTA), Office of Civil Rights, Region IX, 201 Mission Street, Suite 1650, San Francisco, California 94105-1839. The FTA’s complaint procedure is contained in the FTA Circular C4702.1B
