Division 1 - Age 5 - 6
Division 2 - Age 7 - 9
Division 3 - Age 10 - 12
Division 4 - Age 13 - 15
*Some divisions may be combined or canceled if minimum enrollment is not met*

All divisions are $95.25 per child

PARENT CODE OF CONDUCT
In an effort to provide a safe and fun environment for the kids, parents, volunteers, and staff we request that all parents read the Parent Code of Conduct and understand the behavior expectations for attending any practice or games this season.
BALL SIZES
Division 1 - 27.5 (Size 5)
Division 2 - 27.5 (Size 5)
Division 3 - 28.5 (Size 6)
Division 4 - 29.5 (Size 7)
HOOP HEIGHTS
Division 1 - 7 ft. baskets
Division 2 - 8 ft. baskets
Division 3 - 10 ft. baskets
Division 4 - 10 ft. baskets
TOURNAMENTS & MEDALS
Division 3 & 4 will participate in a tournament the final week of the season. Medals will be distributed to the winning and 2nd place team from each Division.
TEAM ASSIGNMENTS & SPECIAL REQUESTS
Special requests are allowed to be made, however, request are not guaranteed to be accommodated. Staff will not accommodate requests made to be placed on a team with a certain coach or children, UNLESS, that coach or child is of immediate family. If siblings are within the same division and have different last names please ensure their sibling is listed under special requests. Players are not allowed to switch to another team unless it has been approved by the Recreation Coordinator.
PRACTICES
Teams will be provided one practice time per week. Practices are one hour per week and take place at the Kerr McGee Community Center Gymnasium. All practices will take place on either a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. Staff and Coaches will reach out to participants 1 to 2 weeks prior to the season beginning with practice dates/times, team names and coaches information.
GAME DAYS
League games will be held on Fridays or Saturdays and will begin the second week of the season. Games are typically once per week between 9:00am - TBD (dependent on amount of teams). Games are held at the Kerr McGee Community Center Gymnasium located at 100 West California Avenue. All rules and policies within the building are expected to be followed by all players, coaches, and guests.
COACHING INFORMATION / INCENTIVES
Parents, we need your help! Please volunteer to coach, as a thank you for your time and efforts our HEAD COACHES will receive 50% of their child's/children's registration fee returned to them via account credit at the end of the season. For those without children enrolled this account credit will still be applied. This credit can be used for any city activity, drop in class, or sports program in the future. If you are interested please fill out the Support Staff Form and Coaches Code of Conduct and return it to our Recreation Coordinator Jennifer at lblanton@ridgecrest-ca.gov You can also drop these forms off with our front desk staff at the Kerr McGee Community Center. All coaches and support staff must be able to pass a background and live scan.
