    Thank you for your interest in participating in City of Ridgecrest events for 2026! Please complete the application form below. All sections must be filled out unless marked as optional. Incomplete applications may result in delays or disqualification. Please note: Applications will not be processed unless all required documentation listed below is submitted. Additionally, event dates are subject to change, and the City of Ridgecrest reserves the right to cancel any event due to weather. In such cases, vendors will receive a 24-hour notice. Please verify event dates and remain flexible when selecting the event(s) you wish to participate in to account for any scheduling updates.

    The City of Ridgecrest reserves the right to select vendors for participation in its events for . Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance. Additionally, there is no cost to vendors for applying or participating in City events.

    Please include the following in your application:

    1. Signed agreement to policies & procedures and signed release of liability (attached).

    2. Proof of $1,000,000 liability insurance policy (see details below).

    3. Kern County Health Permit (Temporary Food Facility Permit).

  7. Insurance Requirements:

    If you plan to participate in 2026 City of Ridgecrest Events, you will need to provide proof of insurance showing coverage for City of Ridgecrest (City Nights or Night on Balsam) Events in the amount of $1,000,000 per occurrence. You will need the following:

    • An endorsement to your policy showing that it is the primary insurance and naming The City of Ridgecrest as certificate holders (additionally insured):

  8. Vendor Rules and Event Details: Please read and sign

    By signing below, vendor applicant agrees to adhere to The City of Ridgecrest Policies and Procedures upon acceptance of application. Any questions should be addressed before the application is submitted.

    1. Electricity and water will not be available. Quiet generators will be accepted.

    2. The use of weights is required to anchor temporary structures for the entire duration of the event.

    3. Vendors must have their own dolly or rolling cart to transport materials from loading zones to assigned booth space.

    4. All vendors must provide their own booth fixtures (i.e. tarps, tables, chairs, etc.).

    5. Each booth will have an assigned space, and the City of Ridgecrest reserves the right to reassign booths up to the morning of the festival if there have been last-minute changes.

    6. Vendors will be allowed to start setting up 4 hours prior to the event. Vendors must plan for food supplies to last throughout the entire event, as leaving during the event will not be possible.

    7. All garbage, such as boxes, food waste (both solid and liquid), etc., must be cleaned up when breaking down.

  9. Liability Waiver

    By signing below, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

    1. I am solely responsible for obtaining all necessary permits, licenses, and insurance required to operate my food vending business at City of Ridgecrest events.

    2. The City of Ridgecrest is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury resulting from my participation in City events.

    3. I agree to comply with all local, state, and federal regulations related to my business operations.

    4. I understand that failure to meet any of the requirements or provide the requested documentation may result in the rejection of my application or removal from the event.
